salary: imho good, but it depends on experience. It is not an issue if you know your stuff.
what: One of the most-visited websites in the world, #1 in live streaming.
hardware: more than 20 gbit, 50k concurrent users, 100 cpu, 200 gigs of ram (present).

The task
Research, development and maintenance of our live-streaming technology.

The required skills
- Strong linux knowledge and experience.
- Strong C/C++ knowledge and experience.
- Medium networking skills (ethernet/arp/ip/tcp).
- Medium english skills (mostly reading/writing, sometimes verbal but that's not really necessary).

Advantages
- Python experience.
- Socket programming experience.
- Experience in developing highly available, highly scalable software.
- Some flash development experience.
- Some video transcoding experience.
